Guzheng 古箏
A 21-string plucked zither with over 2000-year history. It is loved for its beautiful glissandos and soothing sound. It is also a great choice for beginners.
古箏是一個擁有2000多年歷史的傳統彈撥樂器。它優美的聲音得到很多人的喜愛。它也是初學者的一個不錯的選擇。
Erhu 二胡
A two-stringed bowed musical instrument (also known as the Chinese violin). As a very versatile instrument, the erhu is used in both traditional and contemporary music arrangements.
二胡是一個兩弦的拉弦樂器。它可以演奏傳統音樂，也可以演奏現代音樂。在西方被美名為“中國小提琴”。
Guqin 古琴
A 7-string plucked zither with over 3000-year history. Guqin has a wide sound range, deep timbre, and long reverberation.
古琴是擁有3000年歷史的古老的彈撥樂器，又稱七弦琴。它音域寬廣，音色深沈，餘音悠遠，是古代重要的禮樂。
Pipa 琵琶
A four-string plucked instrument (also know as the Chinese lute), with over 2000-year history. It is one of the instruments that can represent the classical Chinese music. With its design and a range of playing technics， it produces a distinct clear sound.
琵琶是一個擁有2000多年歷史的四弦彈撥樂器。它靠獨特的響亮音色和演奏技巧在中國古典樂器裏面擁有一席之地。也是國樂的典型代表之一。
Yangqin 揚琴
A hammered string instrument. The performer holds bamboo hammers to hammer on the strings. Its playing skills are flexible and diversified and serve well those fast and lively tunes.
揚琴是一種表現形式多樣的擊弦樂器。它在傳統民樂中常充當鋼琴伴奏的角色。

Tea Ceremony 茶藝
China is the birthplace of tea culture. Tea ceremony is the art of making tea and a way of savouring delicate tea. It includes different elements, from recognising the different types of tea, choosing an appropriate tea set, master the brewing techniques to create a serene space for tea tasting.
中国是茶文化的发源地。茶艺不僅是泡茶的技藝，更是一种品茶，行茶的艺术。

Calligraphy 書法
Calligraphy is a unique art form in Chinese culture and is an artistic way of writing. It expresses one’s aestheticism by using a brush and ink. By controlling the flexibility of the brush and the concentration of ink, a calligrapher could produce a variety of forms and styles.
中國書法是以漢字為基礎的線條的藝術，自古以來是琴棋書畫四藝之一。通過筆墨紙硯等書法工具，寫者按照文字特點，通過筆法，結構的變換，使其成為具有美感的藝術作品。
Chinese painting 國畫
Chinese painting is a traditional form of visual art with a rich and storied history deeply rooted in Chinese culture. Chinese painting encompasses two primary techniques: "Xieyi" and "Gongbi."It primarily employs materials such as ink, silk, and rice paper to create expressive and evocative depictions of the natural world, as well as various aspects of human life.
國畫是中國傳統繪畫的一種形式，具有悠久的歷史和豐富的文化傳統。國畫的技法包括寫意和工筆，每種技法都有其獨特之處。 它以墨、絹、宣紙為主要材料，採用筆墨、水、色彩的技法來表現自然界和人物的美感。

Group Lessons

Group lessons usually have 3-10 students. You can learn music with friends for more fun and more affordable price. Some of our courses like Music Theory are only held in group lesson setting.

Let's Have Fun! (3-5 y/o)

'Let's Have Fun!' lessons are designed for children from 3-5 years old. We wanted to play with them using a variety of percussion instruments and games, to develop their sense of melody and rhythm.
